Estimating workdays as total_days × 5/7 is inaccurate because it doesn't account for which day of the week the range starts and ends. Always count actual weekdays for precision.
Ignoring regional weekend patterns
Not all countries observe Saturday-Sunday weekends. UAE, Saudi Arabia, and several other nations use Friday-Saturday. Using the wrong pattern can be off by several days per month.
Double-counting weekend holidays
If a public holiday falls on a Saturday (already a non-working day), subtracting it again underestimates working days. The calculator handles this correctly.
Forgetting half-day or regional holidays

How the algorithm counts business days accurately
The working days calculator iterates through each day in the date range and checks whether it falls on a weekend day (based on your selected pattern). Days matching the weekend pattern are excluded. If holidays are provided, those are also excluded — but only if they fall on a working day.

- Step 2: Identify and count all days matching the weekend pattern (e.g., every Saturday and Sunday)
