When you toggle between light and dark mode, we save your choice in local storage (key: "theme"). This ensures the site loads in your preferred theme on future visits.
Recently Used Calculators
We store a list of your recently accessed calculators (key: "ganak_recently_used") for quick access. This data resides only on your device and won't follow you across browsers.

We may introduce other functional storage items over time (e.g., remembering if you've seen a feature tour). These are always purely for improving your experience.
Analytics
Our analytics solution (Cloudflare Web Analytics) does not set any cookies. It aggregates data without persistent identifiers. If we ever move to a different analytics provider, any such change will be reflected in an updated Cookie Policy.
Cloudflare Cookies (Infrastructure)
Since our site is hosted through Cloudflare, they may place certain cookies for security and efficient delivery (e.g., __cf_bm for bot management, __cflb for load balancing). These are managed by Cloudflare, not us, and do not track you beyond our site.
Cookie Consent
Implied Consent for Functional Use
Because our use of cookies/local storage is minimal and purely for site functionality, we do not present a cookie banner. By using our site, we infer that you consent to the placement of these functional storage items. These are considered "necessary" for providing a user-friendly experience.

How to Control or Delete Cookies

Most browsers allow you to see and clear cookies and local storage in Privacy or Site Settings. Use incognito mode to automatically clear data when you close the session.
Currently there is no Google Analytics or similar to opt out of. If we introduce them, you could use browser add-ons or tracking protection features to block those.
Since we don't do cross-site tracking, this setting doesn't significantly alter your experience on Ganak.
You can manually remove stored preferences via your browser's developer tools. The site will reset to default settings until you use it again.
If you disable cookies and local storage entirely, certain features may not work properly. For instance, the site won't remember your dark mode choice on next visit.

We may update this Cookie Policy as needed. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates when changes were last made. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
