This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Ganak, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. Information We Do Not Collect
No Account or Personal Details
We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal identification (such as name, email, phone number) to use Ganak. The calculators on our Site operate without needing personal data input beyond the figures you choose to calculate, and those inputs are not stored on our servers.
No Sensitive Personal Data
We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal data (e.g. financial account info, health data, Aadhaar numbers, etc.). Ganak is a simple calculator platform; any numbers you input for calculation are processed locally in your browser and not sent to us.
Information We Do Collect
While we intentionally minimize data collection, some data is gathered automatically or stored for functionality:
Local Preference Data (Stored on Your Device)

Ganak uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to gather basic usage information such as page views, device type, browser type, and aggregated geographic region of visitors. This analytics service does not use cookies or store personal identifiers. It collects anonymized, aggregate statistics which help us understand how the site is used.
Server Logs
When you visit Ganak, our hosting platform (Cloudflare) may record basic technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and timestamp of your request. These logs are primarily used for debugging and security, and log data is generally auto-deleted after a short period.
Communications Data
If you choose to contact us via email, we will receive whatever information you decide to send (such as your email address, message content, and any other contact details you include). We will use this information only to correspond with you and address your request or feedback.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the Service
Preference data stored in your browser (theme choice, recent calculators) is used locally to provide a smoother user experience. None of this leaves your device.
Analytics and Improvements
Aggregated analytics data is used to understand overall usage patterns (for example, which calculators are most popular). This helps us improve Ganak's content and performance. All analytics information is anonymized and does not identify you personally.
Communication

Service Providers
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate and maintain Ganak. Chiefly, our site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. These providers are obligated to handle any data they process in compliance with applicable privacy standards.
Legal Compliance
If we are required by law to disclose information, we may do so. Since we store minimal data, such scenarios are rare, but we will comply with applicable laws and only provide the minimum necessary information.
Business Transfers
If Ganak is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information could be transferred to a successor or acquiring entity. We will ensure the new owner is bound to respect the commitments in this Privacy Policy.
We do not currently share personal data for marketing or advertising purposes. We have no third-party ad trackers or social media plugins collecting your data.
Cookies and Local Storage
We have a separate Cookie Policy detailing how we use browser cookies and local storage. In summary, Ganak itself sets no traditional cookies for tracking or advertising. The only "cookies" or similar technologies in use are local storage on your browser for preferences (theme, recent items) and possibly a few technical cookies by Cloudflare for load balancing or bot protection. Cloudflare's analytics script is cookie-free.
Data Security
We take security seriously. Ganak.app is only accessible via secure HTTPS connection. The preference data in your browser is only accessible by the Ganak app running in your browser context. Our third-party providers employ industry-standard security practices.
However, no website is 100% secure. While the lack of sensitive data collection greatly reduces risk, we still encourage you to use a secure network. If you email us, please do not include sensitive personal information for your own protection.
Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal data through the Site, we do not maintain user profiles or databases to purge. Any analytics data collected is aggregated and contains no personal identifiers. Raw server logs are generally retained by our hosting provider for only a short duration. If you communicate with us via email, we may retain your message; you can request that we delete an email thread and we will honor such requests unless required to keep it for legal reasons.

Even though our data collection is minimal, you still have rights regarding any personal information that might relate to you:
You may request details of any information we have and ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate.
You can request that we delete any personal data we may have. Data stored only on your device (preferences) is under your control — clear your browser's local storage at any time.
Since our current analytics do not identify individuals, there is no personal data to opt out of. You could use browser extensions to block such scripts if you wish.
We do not sell your data. If covered by CCPA or similar laws, you can rest assured we have nothing to sell.
